You Are Not Alone – Book for Afghan women facing violence http://www.wluml.org/media/why-we-wrote-book-women-afghanistan

Within the first six months of 2014 in Afghanistan, registered cases of violence against women increased by 25% compared to the same time period in 2013. Although this can be attributed to an increase in violence it can also be attributed to an increase in awareness and availability of reporting mechanisms.
